For shrimp farmers, poultry farmers, and distributors

Vibrio, EHP, CRD. Managed without antibiotics.

Shrimp ponds under Vibrio or EHP pressure. Poultry flocks running CRD costs up. Qualigene's field protocols give you the tools to manage both — without antibiotics, without residues, without starting from scratch.

What we do

Less disease pressure. Better FCR. Export certificates intact.

Replace antibiotics

Probiotic strains that crowd out Vibrio and E. coli without selecting for resistance. Plant-derived bioactives that support hepatopancreas function, addressing EHP where antibiotics can't.

Residue-free harvests

Meet EU, US and Japan export standards, or domestic processor residue requirements, for aquaculture and poultry.

Better yield, lower FCR

Demonstrated across AP and Karnataka: improved survival, lower FCR, consistent harvest weight.

The mechanism

How the biology actually works.

Why biology beats broad-spectrum antibiotics

Antibiotics kill indiscriminately — they eliminate the beneficial Bacillus and Lactobacillus populations that compete for colonisation sites against Vibrio and E. coli. Each treatment cycle resets the microbial community and selects for resistant strains. Qualigene's tools — phages, competitive-exclusion probiotics, and plant-derived bioactives — act on defined targets without collateral disruption to resident microbiota. The pathogen load drops; the beneficial community is intact for the next cycle.

Multi-strain Bacillus: how pond chemistry stabilises

B. subtilis, B. licheniformis, and B. megatherium secrete extracellular proteases, amylases, and lipases that enzymatically break down uneaten feed and faecal matter before it decomposes into ammonia and hydrogen sulphide. At the colonisation level, Bacillus populations outcompete Vibrio spp. for adhesion sites on pond substrate and shrimp gut epithelium — a competitive exclusion effect documented across Vannamei and Monodon trials. The result: lower TAN, lower H₂S, stable pond colour, and reduced water-exchange frequency.

Bacteriophage lytic cycle: precision pathogen elimination

Bacteriophages are obligate bacterial parasites. Lytic phages bind to strain-specific surface receptors, inject their genome, commandeer cellular replication machinery, and lyse the host cell within 20–60 minutes. Each lysed cell releases 50–200 new phage particles. The cycle propagates only while the target pathogen is present and stops when it is eliminated. Because phages do not carry antibiotic-resistance genes and do not act on eukaryotic cells, they have no pathway to generate mammalian toxicity or cross-resistance in non-target bacterial populations.

The science

Built on phytogenics, probiotics & immunomodulators.

What these products actually do: specific probiotic strains outcompete Vibrio at the sites it colonises. Plant-derived compounds hold the gut stable when pressure peaks. The result is a pond or flock that handles challenge without needing antibiotics to recover. Data from AP and Karnataka trials is on the science page.

What you'll need for due diligence

A practical path from concern to field trial.

Share your sector, pond or flock condition, and current pressure point. The field team will tell you exactly where to start.

Quality credentials (cGMP, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015) are independently verifiable — scope and issuing body listed for each.

Questions before enquiry

Clear answers before you trial.

Can Qualigene products replace antibiotics immediately?

Not during an active outbreak. Get your vet involved first. These products work best between cycles and in prevention: building the pond or flock conditions where antibiotics aren't needed. Tell the field team your sector and current pressure point and they'll say where to start.

Do you support both shrimp and poultry operations?

Yes. The portfolio covers shrimp aquaculture and poultry, with separate product recommendations, usage guidance, and technical support for each sector.

How do I know which product to trial first?

Send your sector, farm size, and current pressure point. Qualigene can suggest a focused trial route instead of pushing the full portfolio at once.

Are datasheets and quality documents available?

cGMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001:2015 certifications are independently verifiable on our verification page — scope and issuing body listed for each. For full product datasheets, WhatsApp the field team and they'll send them the same day.

Tell us your operation. We'll build the protocol.

Send your sector, pond count or flock size, and current pressure point. We match a trial route to your challenge, not push a product list.
